Students are evaluated in both theory and clinical
components at the end of each level. The Practical
Nursing students ability to continue in the Program is
based upon there satisfactory attainment of the
objectives stated for each level, and satisfactorily
completing the course contained within each level. In
addition, a demonstration for aptitude for Practical
Nursing and adherence to Program standards are required.
The student is required to maintain adequate achievement
in all nursing theory and clinical practice. The current
grading scale is as follows:

C........80-86% |
The
minimum passing percentile score in nursing theory is
80% or the grade of "C". Any student is expected to
maintain satisfactory progress during each level, as
outlined in the student hand book. A
satisfactory/unsatisfactory grading system is used on
the objective clinical evaluation tool.
