Helping others had become a tradition at the vocational school. Individual programs at the Vo-Tech have involved themselves in everything from making repairs to their own building to helping the home school districts as well as the community at large. Some recent examples include Christmas lights at the Woodlands Zoo construction of a science lab at Smithfield Elementary, a concession stand at Albert Gallatin High school, wiring of several houses in Fairchance for the Threshold housing program, a web page created for the South Union Township Supervisors, and masonry work in Hopwood on gateways along Route 40.
