In the Computer Technology field, knowing how to work electronics and systems are critical. We try to stay up-to-date with the latest technology and software, as well as different operating systems. In the back of our class room, there are different computers the school has provided for the class. Computers such as Windows Vista Ultimate, Linux, iMac with one of their most recent programs called "Tiger", and an iBook. With these machines, we are able to sucessfully win at such competitions such as the PA Computer Fair and VICA (Vocational Industrial Clubs of America).
In the class room, in the mornings the students follow in an orderly mannor. Once they come in, they type in Mavis Beacon which helps get the students to their goal of 40 wpm (words per minute). Thus, they continue on with group projects, tests, and other work to complete for the day. In the front of the class, there is a Smart Board where the instructor Mrs. Dean teaches.
Besides working on computrers, we also learn different kinds of math such as Pre Calculus, Trigonometry, and Binary, Hex Decimal, and Decimal.
