Through classroom theory and hands on experiences in our fully equipped commercial kitchen and dinning room, you will gain the skills and knowledge needed to be successful in this fast paced, highly demanding field. Students learn the basics of food preparation used in most restaurants, banquet facilities, caterers and institutions. Advanced instructions covers specialty and gourmet cooking, menu planning, purchasing, and management. Potential students should possess the ability to work under pressure, physical stamina, and strong organizational and math skills.
