Security

The Fayette County Area Vocational Technical School has had full-time security in place since 1994. We currently have one full-time officer during the day, and we draw in other officers from other school districts and law enforcement agencies for night activities. We currently operate sixteen cameras to monitor our hallways and parking lots. Security is involved in many aspects of the students' daily routines. Monitoring breakfast, lunch, the shop areas, and any extra curricular activities are just a few. This is done to maintain good lines of communication between the students and school officials. These efforts, and more, are all done to keep our school safe for our students and the public, at large.
